Who Attends?

Bringing together the cardiovascular community, the HSJ National Cardio Forum is a unique event which brings together key stakeholders from across the NHS and beyond, clinicians and managers alike.


The forum is ideal for senior clinicians who want to learn more about national policy and understand where this intersects with clinical practice. Network with clinical colleagues from across the provider sector so best practice can be shared and important clinical networks can be revitalised.

Medical Directors, Associate Medical Directors, Clinical Directors, Consultants are welcome.


Join the HSJ National Cardio Forum to understand the role that needs to be played by integrated care systems to implement the NHS Long-Term Plan. Find out how you can deliver improved outcomes and care pathways in cardiology in your locality and link in with leading clinicians to inform your strategy is clinically led and patient centred.

STP, ICS leaders, SROs, Clinical workstream leads, Clinical Chairs, Directors of Commissioning can attend.

GP Federations and Primary Care Networks 

Attend the forum to link in with colleagues driving the strategy at STP / ICS level and disseminate information from national leaders on the Long-Term Plan and how your new roles will influence delivery. This will be particularly felt in the introduction of multi-disciplinary teams in smaller scale centres. Use the event to voice your thoughts on how infrastructure, workforce and technology need to change to meet the demands of the plan
